Our Story

Why iGoodar⡉ⴳ⡓ⴷⴰ⡔

The name iGoodar comes from Igoudar (plural of Agadir in Amazigh), the fortified collective granaries that Amazigh communities in Morocco built for centuries in the Anti-Atlas and Souss mountains.

These remarkable structures were not mere warehouses. They were true community banking systems β€” places where security, commerce and solidarity met.

From an ancestral granary to modern software

The Igoudar protected the heritage of Amazigh communities for centuries. iGoodar protects the digital heritage of Moroccan merchants today.

Igoudar values in iGoodar

Every aspect of our software is rooted in the philosophy of Amazigh collective granaries.

Amana β€” Trust

In the Igoudar, each family entrusted their most precious belongings. At iGoodar, your data stays on your PC, never on our servers.

Tiwizi β€” Solidarity

The Igoudar were places of meeting and mutual aid. iGoodar carries this spirit: a tool designed by and for Moroccan merchants.

Tadbirt β€” Management

Each Agadir had a guardian who kept a rigorous ledger. iGoodar digitizes this wisdom: inventory tracking, sales history, customer credit.

Tazwagt β€” Commerce

The Igoudar were on trade routes. iGoodar continues this tradition by equipping modern merchants.

β€œThe Igoudar proved that you can build a safe, efficient and supportive system β€” without it belonging to any single person. iGoodar is our way of continuing this wisdom.”
